Spicing things up!

Last Christmas my cousin and I both got call of duty: world at war, but sadly he didn't have an Internet connection; so he couldn't play the best part of call of duty which is online. I have played a lot online and am at a really high rank. I usually play hard core team death match because it's easier to die and kill people its also way better to snipe in hardcore. But to my surprise my cousin Jeremy texted me yesterday saying that he was playing call of duty online. So I got on as soon as possible added him as a friend then the forces of Nightmare and the pickle combined into a super force! Not quite so much on the last part you see since my cousin just started playing this game he doesn't know the maps, guns, or anything yet so he's getting owned. I on the other hand was just owning people after the first game I killed 35 people and died 6 times while "the pickle" killed 4 people and died 19 times. But he'll get better and then the last few games I stuck with him and helped him get some kills and saved his butt a few times haha.

Deja vu! (this title has nothing to do with the pic haha)

during the summer of 2008 my best friend Mike moved to New York and now I feel like I'm going through this ALL OVER AGAIN only now with my youth pastor Alex leaving. It's been really hard on me both times especially since winter retreat is coming up and last year that was the best event, even though Alex and I were the only guys there. Last year at winter retreat we pretended that we were British and were speaking in British accents. It was really fun because so many people thought we were British! And Alex also made a bunch of people there sing happy birthday for him even though it wasn't his birthday ha ha! When we lost in broom ball again we had war paint and he put it in between his eyebrows to make it look like he had a uni brow. This year I'm going to keep the uni brow going during the broom ball game that we will utterly lose.

Fire emblem gift for my brother

My brother is saving up his money for a Nintendo DS, so I decided to go and get him a game for it. The game that I have in mind is from a series that Hunter and I love it's called fire emblem. Fire emblem has a gridded out battle field and your characters move a certain amount of squares depending on how fast they are. This game is an amazing RPG game the first level is like a small group a well trained soldiers, (you) against a large number of guys who can't fight to save their lives, but as the levels go by your army grow both bigger and stronger while your enemy does the same. The main thing that makes this game fun is that if anyone dies on the battle field, unlike other games, that guy is gone for the REST OF THE GAME! I love this series and would totally recommend this to anyone who likes RPG games in the least.

Have you ever tried to make your life more interesting??

Have you ever been bored of the same routine? Well I was bored this summer because it was always the same, wake up, play video games or watch TV till 10 am, because at 10 my brothers friend comes over to play everyday! So one day I decided to change it up a little and when I went to the door I asked him "whats the password?" and he thought it was one of those lame words like "please" or "let me in" but no I actually came up with a meaningless phrase that is "Blue night by dark". After he guessed like 15 times and was pretty mad at me I whispered "Say blue night by dark." then he finally came in but the next day when I asked him the password he forgot because it was a bunch of random words so again I told it to him and let him come in. After about a month he got the hang of it and remembered it almost as well as me so then I went with the embarrassing factor like I would tell him to say it in a weird way like "cooler" or "little girl like" but then I soon got bored of that. Then I decided to change it up on him with a new one that was easy to remember but hard to say while keeping your pride it was "pretty pixiy at midnight" which made him blush almost every time he had to say especially if some on was around. Currently the password is "Floppy fish sticks in the sun" but hes starting to get a hold of that one so I'll probably change it up on him soon enough.

Valhalla Knights Eldar Saga

This game looks awesome this video is in Japanese or Chinese but you get the idea. You can completely customize your character from his face, hair, and voice to his strength, magic, and speed. You also have job classes that they show in the video which are fighter, mage, priest, ninja, archer, engineer and others. These job classes affects what abilities grow the most and least when you level up; like just guessing here but if your a ninja your speed will probably go up more than if you where a samurai who's strength would go higher than speed. The other video is just some more details on the game from someone talking to the creator of the game.

Super mario bros wii

Some super mario bros wii game play for you.

Christmas list version 2.0

This is an updated version of a previous post here are my top 5 VIDEO GAMES that I want for Christmas. These are video games because talking about the other kinda stuff is kinda boring.

1. Call of duty modern warfare reflex:
I've posted about this game in detail and left you a video of the game. It's about the war in Iraq, the single player is fun but its the online play that makes this game awesome. There are levels 1-55 and the higher your level the more perks (abilities) and guns you get. The best part of the game is once you get to the highest level which is 55; you can prestige up and start all over but to show to others that your a veteran your badge changes to the 2nd prestige badge.

2. Super Mario Bros. Wii:
I'm going to do a follow up post after this about the game and show you a video of this game it's really sweet its the classic mario game revamped with great graphics and other fun stuff.

3. Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga $39.99
This game is another RPG game and it doesn't look that bad it looks pretty fun. There's this video of it on Gamestop.com and it looks like you fight a bunch of huge monsters and creatures. You can totally costomise your character with his strength, speed, luck, and other abilities it looks awesome!

T4. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers
A role playing game I haven't seen too much game play to really like it but it looks pretty awesome. The graphics are good which is kinda rare for the wii so that alone says its a good game.

T4. James Cameron's Avatar the game:
I didn't hear of this game until yesterday morning on amazon.com. There's this distant planet called Syndrome and humans land on syndrome and decide to explore this jungle call Pandora... There are these aliens that live in Pandora call the Na'vi they sorta look like tall blue monkeys they are masters of stealth and they use that to their advantage.

Let the recruiting begin!

Tony Grimes

Jatashun Beachum

Dillion Baxter

During the Ohio State game Michigan had 10 official visitors! This is huge for the "recruiting season" which is coming up now and all of them had a really good time despite the lost. There were 3 kids from California at least 2 from Florida here are some of them who came and some who are really interested.

1. Cullen Christian 3rd best CB 60th best player in the nation. Huge Michigan lean he's suppose to decide which college he's going to today and its expected to be Michigan.

2. Tony Grimes 10th best CB. Michigan is his leader; Michigan is also the leader for his teammate Clarence Murphy. They both want to go to Michigan but Michigan is running out of scholarships...

3. Clarence Murphy 3 star DE teammate of Tony Grimes. Same thing with Grimes where we're not sure about the scholarships.

4. Jatashun "Big Tex" Beachum this guy is interesting he's an athlete but a jumbo athlete he is 270 lbs and he runs a 4.6 in the 40 yard dash! He plays Quarterback, Running back, Defensive tackle, and DE. Michigan is Recruiting him as a Defensive tackle due to their lack of depth it looks like Michigan is the front runner with him.

5. Rashad Knight a 4 star CB has said Michigan is his leader but missed the Ohio State game but plans on rescheduling the visit.

6. Kenny Shaw a 5 star Wide Receiver said that he really enjoyed his visit and that Michigan could be one of his final choices.

7. Tony Jefferson 4 star Safety from California a soft UCLA commitment but now he's looking at other schools.

8. Josh Furman a 4 star Safety/Linebacker he has Michigan in his top 2 along with Virgina Tech.

9. Dillion Baxter a 4 star Running back/Slot Receiver from California a current USC commitment but out of the blue wants to visit Michigan.

Ohio State V.S. Michigan

The rivalry of sports is here! Too bad Michigan has lost 6 of its last 7 and that win was against Delaware St. Ohio State has a solid Defense unlike Michigan and they have Terrel Pryor unlike Michigan. There offense can be stopped if we get into one guy's head Terrel Pryor we also can't have a second half letdown! Our offense will keep us in the game at least till halftime but someone needs to step it up at say "I will lead you to victory!" Last year during the first half it was Brandon Minor who scorched the Ohio State defense but then came the second half where we got killed. I truly believe that we can win this game but only if we play good in BOTH halves.

Prediction: Play till second half 24-42 Ohio State
Finish the game 35-34 Michigan

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

ugh is skipping this game an option??

Michigan had a strong first half showing against Wisconsin but just crumbled like babies in the second half losing 24-45 after being down only 3 at half! Hopefully the rivalry will help us get motivated in the 2nd half this week I believe that we can win it if we play good in the second half. We have to 1. stop Terrel Pryor, 2. not fumble or throw interceptions, and 3. finish the game!

Michigan VS Wisconsin

Michigan is going off to Wisconsin this weekend to play the badgers who I believe are going to crush them! I've realised that my predictions haven't been accurate lately so now I'm not going to be the optimist. Hopefully it won't be a blowout but I seriously wonder what happened to this team we can't even beat Purdue! Possibly God is just mocking me with my predictions and we'll beat them this weekend but I don't know something would have to drastically change with our defense for that to happen. Plus they are going to come with a vengeance after last years 19 point comeback! It probably isn't going to be pretty on Saturday.

Call of duty modern warfare reflex is released!

Today is the release of both Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox360 and PS3)and Modern Warfare reflex (Wii) but it's kind of a bitter sweet because this game is new to wii owners but 2 years old for people with other major systems. Either way its still going to be really fun I am really excited for the new guns; some of which, can be set for different modes where they shoot 3 bullets with one pull of the trigger or set to automatic. I have to say that I Love call of duty world at war and this has way better graphics and better guns! I like how every year they have different guns with the new game and new places it really keeps the game interesting. I don't know yet if it has swearing or anything else bad but from what I know it seems cleaner than world at war. I really hope that it is pretty clean so that I can play my friends online with this game because unlike Mario kart I don't get bored of this game.
Dispite this game just coming out there has been some videos of gameplay on Youtube for a couple of days now and here's one of them.

Draft prediction

Brandon Minor is going to be drafted in this years draft it was kind of on the edge whether he would get drafted but with this play it pretty much solidified him in the draft. Also I believe that Brandon graham is a first round pick but that's obvious. The play I'm talking about is the first highlight. I believe that Minor is going to be a 6th round pick despite being injury prone.

Wish List for Christmas Version 1.0

I have a saying where if its past Halloween then it time to start the Christmas lists! This is kind of my rough draft so to speak. The items aren't in any sort of order yet until I go more in depth.

1. Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga Wii. Price: $39.99
It's about a land called eldar and there's chaos breaking out all over the land. There's an alliance of a couple different races and they try to restore balance to
Eldar. I think it looks pretty cool because it has good graphics, and a way to upgrade your "men".
Likeliness of staying on my list 75%

2.Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearers Wii. Price: $49.99
There's a guy named Will and he has a crystal with him and the crystal gives him extreme amounts of power which he uses to try to save the world.
It looks pretty fun and it has really good graphics but I don't know whether it's my style of game.
Likeliness of staying on my list 50%

3. Ipod Touch price: $200.00
I'm probably going to have to buy this one but if I get money for Christmas It'll probably go to this.
Likeliness of staying on my list 90%

4. Super Mario Bros. Wii Price $49.99
This game is like the classic mario game where your trying to make it to the endless right-side of the screen. Only this game is re-amped with sweet new graphics new characters and looks extremely fun! I was always a fan of the classic mario game and Mario games are almost guarantied fun!
Likeliness of staying on my list 95%

5. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Reflex price: $49.99
It takes place in the middle east possibly in Iraq and in Mission mode your an assassin and your mission is to kill all 5 of the Terrorist leaders. You do it in different ways like some times you use a bazooka to destroy the building he's in and sometimes you use a sniper. The multiplayer is where it's at for this game though where they now have 3 or 4 new modes to play online. The graphics also look vastly improved and unless there are a lot of bad reviews for this game It'll probably be at the top of my list. This game looks awesome I wanted it last year but to my disappointment they didn't even make it for Wii but now that they have it is going to be AMAZING!
Likeliness of staying on my list 99.999999999999%

Wow dude whats going on in your head???

Keep your eye on the guy who tackles him! Come on man!

Purdue VS Michigan prediction

Purdue is at a measly 3-6 record while Michigan is at an acceptable 5-4 record. Normally I wouldn't be worried about Purdue especially if they are 3-6 but they beat Ohio State; and that alone has me worried but on top of that Michigan has been 1-4 in the last 5 weeks. Our quarterbacks decided to show their youth our tight ends also decided that they don't have hands, while our defense keeps allowing the big play. We are really on a down swing to Penn State and Illinois yeah the now 2-6 Illinois.
Michigan really needs to regain their swagger and confidence and I actually believe that they do this against Purdue. I believe that the running backs Brandon Minor and Carlos Brown carry the offense until Tate Forcier is completely comfortable. I believe that we can stop the run like we did in the Iowa game only they won't burn us through the air this time. I have Michigan actually winning big here I believe that they with 35-21 to Purdue and regain their swagger. If Michigan wins as I predict then I believe that they'll upset either Wisconsin or Ohio State but that's not happening if they lose.

DB Recruiting 2010

This year's class is at this point up to 20 commitments, but we still are in good position for some of the top prospects.

Cullen Christian
A 4 star corner back ranked the 60th best player in the nation. Long time Michigan heavy lean is going to commit after the Ohio State VS Michigan game which is always a good thing. He is the highest ranked prospect for Michigan at corner and the most likely to commit. Has been thought as a shutdown corner and an almost lock for Michigan. Chance of signing with Michigan 90%.

Toney Grimes
Another 4 star corner back like Christian he has long time lean toward Michigan but he isn't as a heavy lean as Cullen. He is deciding between Michigan and Pit I still believe that we have him its about a 70% chance of getting him I believe.

Dior Mathis
Came from the same school as William Campbell and Boubar Cicisco. He had Michigan out of his top 3 but still says that they have a chance. Michigan seemed to stop recruiting him so maybe they decided that he wasn't that special. I doubt that we'll get him but who knows? I say we have about a 20% chance of getting him.

Toney Jefferson
A highly ranked corner back from California. He's currently committed to UCLA but he's having second thoughts and is visiting Michigan. I believe Michigan has a chance but it depends on his visit to Michigan. Chance of Jefferson signing with Michigan 40%

Lions = fail

Lions amazingly won earlier this season against the Washington Redskins, but they failed to beat the just plain bad Rams! Seriously lions you guys are an epic fail! You should have been smart and gotten Aaron Curry or an offensive lineman. Then this year you would be in good position to get a stellar quarterback who is 2x better than Stanford, like Tim Tebow, Colt McCoy, Sam Bradford, or Jimmy Clauson! This next draft is LOADED with talent but you're too stupid to realize that and so you go for an above average quarterback who is being paid WAY TO MUCH!

Key problems in the last few games

The last few games Michigan has had there have been some problems with our play and they are...

1. Offensive line
Our offensive line has gone up against some seriously powerful defensive lines lately with Iowa and Penn St but they struggled against Illinois! I don't know what is the reason for this but it might have something to do with Molk being out of the line up. The first drive of the Penn St game Michigan drove the ball 70 yards down their throat for the touchdown; Molk got injured during that drive after that we only scored 3 more points.

2. Special Teams
Our punt returners can't catch the ball!

3. Tight ends
Koger and Webb have been consistant with one thing the last few games... dropping the ball.

4. Injuries
Minor our star running back, Molk our leader of the line at center, Donavan Warren our stud conerback, and Odoms our leading receiver are all dinged up or worse.

5. Tackling tackling tackling
Our young players are too emotional when we got stopped on the goal line our defense decided to play sloppy and not wrap up.

The truth reveals its self

After that horrible game against Penn State it became obivious to me that Michigan isn't really that great they're only about average. I still think we're going to get into a bowl game but not a january bowl. We're probably going to go to one of the weaker bowls because besides for the win against Notre Dame we really have done anything. I think we might pull an upset before the season is over, but we'll get 6-8 wins this season and probably play some team like arizona in the bowl.

Michigan's record setting day!

Last Saturday Michigan went against Delaware state and beat the socks off them 63-6!
Sadly all we really learned from that is that our backups are pretty dang good particularly at running back. We ran over 400 yards on Delaware state without our two best running backs!! Mike Shaw who started the game ran for 9 times for 73 yards and a touchdown, Mike Cox (#15) had 11 carries for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns including a 53 yard touchdown run, while Vince Smith (#2) had 17 carries for a grand total of 166 yards and a touchdown. Denard Robinson played most of the game going 3 of 4 passing for 85 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running 6 times for 56 yards and another touchdown. Forcier just played one series to just get his confidence back. At halftime of the game the score was 49-3 so it was basically was a total blowout.

Michigan VS Iowa

Michigan (4-1) V.S. Iowa (5-0)is on tomorrow and it's expected to be a beat down but I actually disagree with that. I actually believe that Michigan will be able to run the ball to some degree on Iowa's defense and I know they'll be able to pass it. The only thing I'm worried about is how much pressure on Tate Forcier there will be. If Michigan's offensive line give Tate enough time to throw I believe Michigan will have fun going down the field and scoring. But I don't think our defense is good enough to keep the score in our favor.

Prediction Iowa 31-28

Quarterback comparison Denard V.S. Tate

This is my point of view of the 2 freshmen quarterbacks over the 5 week period of the season. Tate Forcier (#5) is a pass first slippery kind of guy while Denard (#16) is a Run first and a I'll run for a 70-yard touchdown on my own quarterback. I've put this into 3 categories and my grading system is going to be 1-10; 5 being an average freshman, and 10 is 1st round pick worthy.

Accuracy and Arm Strength

Tate Forcier was ranked the most accurate passer in the nation as a senior in high school. If you have watch even one of the games that Michigan has played in you can tell that the ranking of most accurate passer was dead on. He's surprisingly extremely accurate while on the run unlike most quarterbacks.

Final grade 8.9

Denard Robinson isn't quite developed as a passing quarterback yet, he'll check 2 receivers and then tuck down the ball so he can run. He needs to be able to trust his arm more mainly his accuracy which is his largest weakness. But he has shown that he has enough arm strength to heave that ball long so that shows promise.

Final grade 5.5

Keeping the play alive

Tate Focier is the best at this in the 4th quarter when the defense is swarming all around him. He has a really good habit of keeping his eyes down field looking for a receiver to break open.

8.3

Denard Robinson is like water where you can feel him but can't hold him. He's a speed demon running a 4.3 in the 40-yard dash. His agility also helps him spring runs of 20, 36, and 43 yards. Denard is better at running than Tate is at throwing but Tate can run pretty good while Denard can possibly throw but he won't unless someone is WIDE open.

7.8

Intelligible

Tate Forcier is a natural quarterback where he forgets bad plays really fast and can get really hot if there's a spark of success. He came to Michigan over the spring and that has really helped him adjust to the speed of college football. He is extremely smart the only problems he ever has are usually freshman mistakes which he'll fix with more experience.

9.5

Denard Robinson is pretty good at knowing when to take off on a run but he needs to learn when to pass the ball. He still needs to learn about the offense more before he feels completely comfortable with passing. He needs to keep looking for wide receivers to get open while he's running from defensive linemen.

4.5

Commitment updates 2010 Offense

Michigan has snagged 19 total commitments so far for the class of 2010 and I'll show you who they are, and how good they are. (There are 5 total stars that they can get.)

Quarterback: class of 2010 is looking good!
Guys to watch: Devin Gardner.

Devin Gardner (picture up top #7) 6-4 195 lbs 4 star scrambling quarterback from Michigan. He was highly ranked after his junior season being ranked 187th best player in the nation; but there were some concerns about his throwing motion because he threw side armed. However he worked really hard over the summer to try to fix his mechanics and BAM! Now he's ranked the 53rd best player in the nation and the top dual threat quarterback in America! Since Tate Forcier is just a year ahead of his I bet that he redshirts his freshmen year.

Cornelius Jones 6-2 192 lbs 3 star scrambling quarterback from South Carolina. He was off the radar for most college teams because last year was his first year at quarterback. He did excellent considering that and the fact that his team is horrible. He sent a video of one of his games to Michigan and then Michigan responded by offering him. He's a dark horse next to Gardner but if it doesn't work out then he can always switch positions.

Running back: Trying to get one more great one.
Guys to watch: Austin White and Stephen Hopkins.

Tony Drake 5-9 170 lbs 3 star running back from Texas. He was offered by Michigan and other schools despite not even starting last year being behind a super star! For Michigan he might turn into a slot receiver since Michigan is loaded at running back. But he might be the rare Mike Hart who was a low 3 star coming out of high school. I believe that he's going to be turned into a slot receiver but who knows anything can happen.

Stephen Hopkins 6-0 235 lbs 3 star running back from Texas. He was a surprise offer from Michigan because none of Rich Rodriguez's previous offenses had use of big running backs. So I'm really excited to see Hopkins trucking people like Brandon Minor has been doing. He's surprisingly fast for his size running a 4.52 in the 40-yard dash. I've shown you some highlights of him on the blog so check it out.

Austin White (Picture Top #23) 6-0 186 lbs 3 and 4 star (depending where you look.) running back from Michigan. I'm honestly really excited for White to come to Michigan, he has really good hands in the back field. There has been some talk about him going to slot but I doubt that Michigan would do that. He is like a combination of Minor and Brown from Michigan where he can truck you and can run for long runs but isn't as good at either of those than them.

Wide receiver: Great looking class!
Guys to watch: Ricardo Miller and Jeremy Jackson

Jeremy Jackson 6-3 194 lbs 3 and 4 star wide receiver from Michigan. Jackson is son of current Michigan running backs coach Fred Jackson which is clear when you see Jeremy's rout running. Jeremy is definitely a possession receiver due to his lack of speed. Don't be surprised if Jackson switches to tight end when he comes to Michigan I believe that he'll excel at tight end.

Ricardo Miller 6-2 208 lbs 4 star wide receiver previously from Florida now from Michigan. Ricardo was the highest ranked wide receiver coming before he moved to Michigan but the high school talent is better in Florida than here so he went down in rankings. But you guys better watch out a lot of people are thinking that he might be the next Michigan receiver to wear the legendary #1 jersey. With people saying that I've got to say that I'm really pumped for Miller!

Jerald Robinson 6-2 175 lbs 4 star wide receiver from Ohio. He was one of Michigan's first commitments and a lot of people thought that he was an Ohio State lock but man were they wrong! I don't really know too much about Robinson so I'll try to update as soon as possible.

D.J. Williamson 6-1 172 lbs 3 star wide receiver from Ohio. Williamson has connections to Michigan which is part of the reason for the scholarship. He is under ranked due to his horrible quarterback of last year which made his statistics and his rank fall. D.J. has the "X" factor with his 4.4 40-yard dash time its extremely hard to catch him. Hopefully his hands will develop with great coaching.

Drew Dileo 5-10 175 lbs 3 star wide receiver from Louisiana. Drew Dileo is a kick return specialist which should be pretty good. I don't know too much about Dileo except that he might end up being a slot receiver and that he is really good at returning punts.

Offensive Linemen: We desperately need more.
The only one to watch: Christian Pace

Christian Pace 6-3 262 lbs 3 or 4 star linemen from Ohio. Christian Pace is basicly a beast a good catch for Michigan. He's a center so he'll probably end up replacing Molk when he graduates. He could very possibly move up in rankings. He's currently ranked the 7th best center in the nation.

Fresh start!

Sorry I haven't been online lately but I'm on now. Michigan is off to a hot start this season being 4-0 ranked #23 in the nation and with 2 starting freshmen quarterbacks. They crushed Western Michigan 31-7 in what was suppose to be a close game. Then they shocked #18 in the nation The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame 38-34. Then avoided the upset to Indiana 36-33. Next up is instate rival Michigan State who is 1-3 but lost 2 of those games in the last minute. I really can't wait for this game because it's almost a guaranty that it is going to be a fantastic game! Tate Forcier has been the talk of the nation, but has started to show his youth with mistakes in the Indiana game; Michigan also showed that their snaps aren't completely corrected like we thought. I'm sure that at least the snaps will be worked out by next week when Michigan goes to take on the sparties!

An Albino CHIPMUNK!!

Last Sunday my family and I discovered that there is an albino chipmunk living in our nieghborhood...HOW SWEET IS THAT!?!?!? (Answer: totally sweet) sadly he's probably going to be eaten by our nieghbors cat who eats birds, squirls, mice, and chipmunks.

Wednesday!!!

Today is Wednesday my favorite school day! We usually go to subway, I don't have to do math, and I get a great workout at school! At the school it's a little more fun than at home because we talk to each other and have heavier weights. The only problem is that you have to wait FOREVER for the weights! But usually their the freshmen and you can always just kick them off the machine haha. Even though I can't play football I still want to stay in shape so that I look good and feel good!

Oh YEAHHHHH!!!!

Yesterday I finally took my drivers test and I was really nervous about the parking park because I'm bad at parking in general. But yesterday was a different story I nailed all of the parking my guy who was testing me (Blanzy) said that I was a parking legend. NOT!! Actually it was as bad as I thought I needed to try all 3 different type of parking twice to get it right. You have 20 total points in the test and your only allowed to miss 6 points and I lost 6 points during the parking section. I bet Blanzy wasn't really looking forward to the driving portion but luckily I'm 100X better at driving than parking and I just barely passed haha. All I need to do is go to the secretary of state and get my license

Cullen Christian

Cornerback is a real need for this recruiting class and Michigan has been doing a good job of recruiting it. Cullen Christian from Pennsylvania has Michigan at the top of his list and he's a BEAST! He's ranked a 3 star prospect and I think is underrated. I'm expecting him to commit to Michigan anytime soon.

Prospects to watch

Seantrl Henderson: Offensive tackle 6-8, 308 lbs. Ranked the top player in the country a 5 star prospect. Visited Michigan in March and said that he loved it more than any other school he went to so far.

Sharrif Floyd: Defensive tackle 6-3, 295 lbs. Ranked the 91st best player in the nation, the 4th best defensive tackle in the country and is a 4 star prospect. Michigan's lack of depth helps them out with Floyd and they're in his top 2 along with Penn St.

Dior Mathis: Cornerback 5-9, 170 lbs. Ranked the 153rd best player in the nation, the 8th best corner and a 4 star prospect. Goes to Detroit Cass Tech which Michigan has at least 4 players from the last 2 years on their roster. He has Michigan in his top 2 along with Miami.

Corey Nelson: Linebacker 6-0, 210 lbs. Ranked the 39th best player in the nation, the 3rd best linebacker and a 4 star prospect. Teammate of current Michigan running back commitment Tony Drake and has named Michigan as his leader and is planing on visiting Michigan in the summer or fall.

Brennan Clay: Running back 6-0, 190 lbs. Ranked the 41st best player in the country, the 2nd best all-purpose back and is a 4 star prospect. Was a teammate of current Michigan freshmen Tate Forcier and they keep in contact. He has Michigan in his top 5.

I am that is 16!

I turned 16 recently so now I feel.....the same as I did last week. But I got some cool stuff for my birthday I got a $20 subway gift card, hair gel(the good stuff), and Metroid Prime 3 Corruption! I really like this game it's got amazing graphics, good story line, and is a really fun adventure game. I own the first 2 metroid primes and loved both of them. It starts out where you have all of your armor and guns and gadgets. Then after a brawl with a space pirate (the main bad guys) boss, you lose it all. The rest of the game you're gaining all of your guns and stuff back while fighting space pirates, aliens, and robots and solving puzzles. I really like the series and would highly recommend it to any...guy, haha girls probably wouldn't like it.

Commitment after the spring football game

Stephen Hopkins commited to Michigan resontly after the spring game. He's built like Anthony Thomas and is proof that Rich Rodreguez isn't just going for small fast running backs. Man is this guy good!!

New michigan commitment

Michigan got their 2nd Florida commitment of 2010 in Marvin Robinson the 6th best safty in the nation. He's the 99th best player in the nation.

(part 1) 10 Michigan Players to watch in 2009 (1-5)

With spring practice over, there's a pretty good image of who are going to be studs come fall. Here are some that I think are at least going to have a lot of importance of Michigan's season on their shoulders.

1. Tate Forcier Freshman QB. Well I know your thinking "DUH!" but yeah we already know how bad they are without a good quarterback. Even though Forcier looked good during the spring game he's going to make mistakes during opponents like Ohio State who have AMAZING defenses year after year. But he still should be good I liked what I saw from this guy at the spring game.

2. Brandon Minor (#4)/Carlos Brown Seniors RB. Minor had a good season last year despite playing in only 5 games due to injury. We need him to step up this year to take off the pressure from freshman Tate Forcier and he should do a lot better running behind an ACTUAL offensive line! If he gets injured the season isn't lost because Carlos Brown is ready to step up to the plate if needed. They will also be both at running back at the same time this year if no one gets injured. Both are healthy for the first time in their injury filled careers.

3. Brandon Graham Senior DE (#55). Graham has been a BEAST in the Michigan defense for 2 years and even though he could have gone to the draft he decided to stay another year at Michigan. He will be all over the field making sacks, tackles, and fumbles. This year the defense sadly looks like the weak point but he and Obi Ezeh are determined to prove everyone wrong.

4. Obi Ezeh Junior OLB. Obi was a 3 star prospect coming out of high school lets just say that he proved them wrong about his low rating. He became in the freshmen all-American list after his freshmen year and is constantly playing at a high pace. He's got another year after this one which is a really good thought for next year because he's just a monster on the field! He's got a pretty promising NFL career for him if he keeps this up.

5. Donavan Warren (#6)/Boubacar Cissoko Junior/Sophomore CB. Warren was a freshmen all-American but last year struggled with an injury filled season. Cissoko had a pretty good season considering he was a freshmen last year, but he was more of a star returning kicks. Both were very highly rated CB's in High school but now need to step it up for Michigan this year. Michigan's defense gave too many big plays last season and a lot of these guy's play is going to determined whether that happens this year.

Are you serious it's over???

Ugh I can't believe that spring break is over already man it went by FAST! Now they've got me back in school and behind bars! I keep telling myself that there's less than 2 months of school left but the question, "Can I make it??", haunts my mind. I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!

Finally SPRING BREAK!!!

It's been about 2 months since we've had a day off from school at all. Oh my gosh I'm unbelievably happy that spring break is finally here! 11 days to goof off and do whatever I want! Oh yeah this is going to be sweet! Next year they shouldn't have this period of no days off of school so long maybe a week or 2 shorter because I have a serious headache whenever I think about going to school. But I won't think about that now for a WHILE WHAOOO!!

My Offensive grades from yesterday's spring practice

Quarterbacks
Tate Forcier well didn't play as well as I hoped, he had a tendency to look right at the receiver he was going to throw to for forever! From what the volunteers said he was having an off day but all I can say is that I hope he was because he wasn't too hot today. He was really accurate but sometimes miss read what the receiver was doing, he should get better at that come fall though. David looked better than I expected but wasn't anything special he got the ball there, but that's really all that he did. But I still have to say that it was better than what it was last year, but that's not saying much. Overall grade: C+

Running backs
The running backs looked really good yesterday Brandon Minor ran as hard as ever. Carlos Brown showed that he still has that break away threat with a 60 yard run for a touchdown. The guy who was a big surprise to me was a guy like Forcier entered college early, from Florida Vince Smith (#2) has AMAZING agility yesterday he slipped out of a tackle kept running then got sandwiched between 2 defensive players and STILL was running and scored a touchdown! This guy has some serious skill he's only 5'6" or 5'7" but if he stays healthy he's going to be a great one for Michigan.
Final grade: A-

Wide receivers
The wide receivers were okay sometimes they would drop a pass but they were pretty good they had a hard time getting open at times with our corner backs but still made some pretty good catches Greg Mathews made this terrific catch and run for 30-40 yards! But they are about average at this position. Final grade B

Linemen
Let me start off by saying that more than half the reason we had a 3-9 season was because of these guys being inexperienced. But this year they look pretty solid on a lot of the runs during the scrimmage there were really good holes which will be a nice change from last year. There were a couple of plays where there was pressure on the quarterback but nothing major like all of last year. Final grade B+

Michigan Coaching Clinic

Tomorrow my dad and I are going to the Michigan Coaching Clinic! Which should be fun seeing the wolverines practicing before anyone can see them. I'm going to spend sometime watching Tate Forcier and see how well he's doing with the process, another thing I'm going to check out is the wide receivers because no one knows how good they are since last year they didn't have a quarterback.

sick of school

We've had no days off school for several weeks now and it's KILLING ME!! Next week we have a 4 day week then Easter break. (Thank you!!). Another thing that has been making the time go slowly for this period of time is that Mrs. T hasn't been absent in like 3 weeks! Usually she misses one day every week but no she decides to finally go on a run of 3 weeks during the longest part of the year! Ugh I feel like my brain is melting!

New prospects now have Michigan high on their list!

Michigan's first spring practice was this week and with it came a lot of top prospects from around the country. Seantrel Henderson (Offensive tackle) the top prospect in the country was there and very impressed by the visit and said "I loved it better than any college I've been to so far." Some other prospects that have recently added Michigan on their list of favorites are RB Austin White, RB Mack Brown, and DB Latwan Anderson. Austin White was ranked in the top 250 players in the nation but was cut from the new list. He has 2 brothers that went to Michigan St but even with that Michigan seems to be the team to beat for White. Mack Brown has recently shown a lot of interest in Michigan he's ranked 44th best player in the nation. Latwan Anderson is a safety from Ohio and it is rumored that his 2 favorites are Michigan and Michigan St.

Dior Mathis: Possible Next star corner at Michigan??

Dior Mathis is a former teammate of soon to be freshmen Defensive tackle William Campbell, Defensive back Thomas Gordon, and running back Teric Jones. Mathis is also a former teammate to sophomore defensive back Boubacar Cissoko. Dior Mathis is ranked 134th best player in the country. He still hasn't cut his list favorites but I'd expect Michigan to be at least in the top 3. He plays for Detroit class tech and I believe is going to end up committing to Michigan but he's also pretty high on Miami so we'll have to see.
