The Ol' rubber band whip!

Yesterday during Spanish class the posse was doing what we usually do, which is playing card games. While we were all playing cards Rory happened to find a rubber band on the floor. Of course she uses her new power for evil and starts whipping us with the rubber band. Unfortunately for me, she was sitting right next to me and I was her main victim. She probably whipped me in the arm about 15 times while I was play cards until I took it away from her!

I proceeded by scaring her out of her mind with pretending that I was going to whip her in the arm. Then while she wasn't paying attention I got close enough to hit her with the rubber band, and let me tell you that I didn't go as hard as I could have! She was really surprised! I gave her back the rubber band and held out my arm to take the punishment it deserved. It was totally worth it!

The Prom Checklist...

Since prom is right around the corner I decided to see how ready I am. This is all I can think about prom.

Let me explain a bit of this... I don't actually have the corsage in my possession but I'll pick it up on Sunday. The plan has a "/" threw it because I know some of the plan but not all of it. I never went to a dance until now so that would be a little lack of experience. Do I even need to say anything about the great hair?? I didn't think so. Now my dance skills are very debatable here because while I can't do flips or anything like that I can really get my JAM ON!!

Crazy weekend!

On Saturday as soon as I woke up, I knew it was "dooms" day. "Dooms day" obviously means the day I've been dreading my whole live! The day where I.... have to get a suit! First my mom and I went to "Men's Warehouse" but the guy kept handing me the most expensive suits that were $700. After a while, we left and went to Macy's in hopes to find a suit. I experienced a problem at Macy's. My shoulder's were wide enough where when a jacket fit my shoulders there was a WHOLE lot of room in the gut region. The suits were either too big for my stomach or too small for my shoulders. After a frustrating hour we went to J.C. Penny.

Fortunately, they had some "Athletically" cut suits that fit me really good. We found suits that fit me pretty fast it's just that it took me a while to jump from suit to suit. After all that changing I realized that I needed to change my socks because I started catching some really nasty fumes! After a long 3 hours of searching for a suit, we finally found one that was good! I was SO relieved, little did I know that the horror wasn't over quite yet....

As soon as I get home I change into my suit to show my dad then he proceeds to show me how to tie a tie! After like 45 minutes I started to get the hang of it but then I saw the clock and realized that I had to leave in 10 minutes to the progressive dinner! In super hero fashion I switch into my alter ego clothes! I go flying out the door to the car!

At the progressive dinner we had a lot of fun! We went to the Heisey's house to eat salad. Thankfully I got in Andrew G. and Emma's group so we had a lot of fun on the Heisey's trampoline! Sienna was also with us on the trampoline. Kate took pictures of us while we were jumping and got this really funny picture of Andrew and I. Andrew had just stolen my jump and was extremely high up but was about fall on me! In the picture my head is where his calf is and we both are scared to death!

And that was most of what happened over this crazy weekend!

Mission Impossible acomplished!

Rory and I attempt to steal each other's possessions like pencils, erasers, books, and folders. Well 2 days ago I decided to take Rory's Spanish folder. The folder just "happened" to be in her backpack and but she had her back turned toward her backpack. While she was talking to Miss S. I opened her backpack and grabbed her folder then put it in my backpack! Now the whole time I think she's going to turn her head and spot me putting her folder in my backpack like the first 10 times I tried it. This time was different though because she never checked her backpack before the end of school!

Now don't think about how bad I am to steal her folder because we didn't have homework or anything so I knew she wouldn't need it. So after I made a bunch of illustrations on her folder of pac-man and an "Angry Rory" I was ready for Spanish class the next day! So I get into Spanish class before her like I usually do, so I set up all my stuff with Rory's folder under my book.

When Rory gets into the room I nearly burst out laughing knowing very well whats going to happen! She gets to her seat, takes out her book, takes out her notebook, grabs for her folder but it's not her Spanish folder! She's looking through every pocket in her backpack then says "I must've left my Spanish folder in my locker!" as she goes to Miss S. to ask if she can go to her locker I toss her folder on the desk right in between us. She's really relieved and then the look of confusion on her face was PRICELESS! She yells at me "How did you get my folder before I opened my backpack?!?!" I told her I took it from her backpack the day before.

She was SO mad! The funny part is that she wasn't all that mad at me! She was mad at herself for not catching me! She did end up stealing all 3 of my pencils for taking her folder. It was totally worth it especially since she gave me 2 of them back and I stole the last one back! This one was almost as good as the time I came in to school with a fake bruise! Another great victory for Connor!

Dodge BALL!!

Yesterday at Lifeguards we played dodge ball. Fortunately I didn't workout before youth group so I wasn't tired. I was on FIRE taking out several of the other team's best players. I didn't get tired till the last game where before when I would workout before youth group I'd get tired after the 2nd game. I felt like superman; I hit kryptonite soon enough when Sarah Popo came. Where she got me out 3 times! I got out a total of 5 times! Overall I had a whole lot of fun!

Yesterday in Spanish class Rory and Kelsey grabbed my notebook and started writing on it. They were writing their names on it. They put their signature on it along with just their printed names. After a bit Emma saw what we were doing and she decided to sign on the paper. Now I'm going to try to get everyone in the posse to sign it!

The great and Terrible Journey

Yesterday around 9 am, I was told that Katrina needs something that we brought back home on Sunday. So I ended up having to drive to Spring Arbor University and back. The big thing was that I would be doing it alone! I left at 9:30 and arrived on campus at 12:20 pm. I met up with Katrina and we had lunch together at subway. After relaxing a bit in the lobby of her dorm, I went back out on the road. When I finally got home at 2:45 I was ready to pass out on the floor! I was so tired!

The Dutch Mafia!

In one of my recent posts I told you about an auction dinner fundraiser for the lifeguards. This is one of 2 movies we showed at the dinner! Our theme for the dinner was "the roaring 20's" so the movie is a silent, black and white movie. It's called the "dutch mafia" because most of the people at this church are dutch so I'm actually the short one! They have me as the bouncer/ bingo player with weird hair. It's pretty funny! We had the best time making it! Oh yeah the guy in the weird mask is Andrew G who's like 6-4 so I just look short next to him.

Man this Week has been Crazy!

This week has been really hectic for me! I've had to mow a bunch of lawns this week which prevents me from working out. I feel like I'm going insane! I haven't been able to workout in a whole week! I had to mow lawns on Monday and Tuesday. Yesterday Andrew was celebrating Cinco De mayo with his family. Hopefully today I can hit the gym after finishing up work! I can't wait for summer where I'll have a lot more time for cutting lawns and working out!

Ca-Ching!

Yesterday I had to work for 3 hours from 4 o'clock to 7! I wasn't really happy working that long but it really does payoff. I made a total $70 yesterday! I'm really happy about that especially since no one called us until the weekend!

Say what now?

As you probably know from my recent posts that the lifeguards football game was yesterday. High schools vs the geezers (30-40 year olds). Right before the game starts I'm feeling really good. That is until my dad appears on the field against me! I told him my blocking scheme and everything! Needless to say I wasn't as productive as I would've hoped. I did get a lot of pressure on the quarterback and got a few tips but never got a sack. Fortunately, my dad isn't in good shape so he started to die off as the game went on. Offensively I was pretty happy with my production, I kept my dad off the quarterback most of the game.

I got the chance to knock Mr. H on his butt on several occasions which made my year! Now Mr. H and I have been trash talking since I was in 4th grade and it was nice to introduce him to the dirt a bunch of times! I also got the nasty cut that goes from my shoulder to my back that looks AWESOME!
