(part 1) 10 Michigan Players to watch in 2009 (1-5)

With spring practice over, there's a pretty good image of who are going to be studs come fall. Here are some that I think are at least going to have a lot of importance of Michigan's season on their shoulders.

1. Tate Forcier Freshman QB. Well I know your thinking "DUH!" but yeah we already know how bad they are without a good quarterback. Even though Forcier looked good during the spring game he's going to make mistakes during opponents like Ohio State who have AMAZING defenses year after year. But he still should be good I liked what I saw from this guy at the spring game.

2. Brandon Minor (#4)/Carlos Brown Seniors RB. Minor had a good season last year despite playing in only 5 games due to injury. We need him to step up this year to take off the pressure from freshman Tate Forcier and he should do a lot better running behind an ACTUAL offensive line! If he gets injured the season isn't lost because Carlos Brown is ready to step up to the plate if needed. They will also be both at running back at the same time this year if no one gets injured. Both are healthy for the first time in their injury filled careers.

3. Brandon Graham Senior DE (#55). Graham has been a BEAST in the Michigan defense for 2 years and even though he could have gone to the draft he decided to stay another year at Michigan. He will be all over the field making sacks, tackles, and fumbles. This year the defense sadly looks like the weak point but he and Obi Ezeh are determined to prove everyone wrong.

4. Obi Ezeh Junior OLB. Obi was a 3 star prospect coming out of high school lets just say that he proved them wrong about his low rating. He became in the freshmen all-American list after his freshmen year and is constantly playing at a high pace. He's got another year after this one which is a really good thought for next year because he's just a monster on the field! He's got a pretty promising NFL career for him if he keeps this up.

5. Donavan Warren (#6)/Boubacar Cissoko Junior/Sophomore CB. Warren was a freshmen all-American but last year struggled with an injury filled season. Cissoko had a pretty good season considering he was a freshmen last year, but he was more of a star returning kicks. Both were very highly rated CB's in High school but now need to step it up for Michigan this year. Michigan's defense gave too many big plays last season and a lot of these guy's play is going to determined whether that happens this year.
