Devin Gardner is ranked the 176th best player in the country. He’s going to be a good addition to the class because we have 3 really good receivers for him to throw to. Devin Gardner was considering Michigan St, Ohio St, and other major colleges. With him on the list of commits looks like Michigan might get a few commitments with people knowing that they’re going to have quarterback Devin Gardner leading the rains. Many people were surprised that Devin wasn’t ranked among the top 100 by rivals.com but it doesn’t really matter about rankings. Gardner has another year to convince the people at rivals.com that he has the skill to be in the top 100. Even though Michigan now has a great quarterback for the 2010 class they’re still going to have to get one more due to lack of depth at the position.
